Audrey - Visible Forms
Another debut album released in 2006, this time, by a Swedish band named Audrey. They do some honest pop-rock with a hint of post-rock.

Tokimonsta - Midnight Menu
Midnight Menu is the debut LP from Tokimonsta, another member of the wonky/electronic/hip hop/whatever squad from Los Angeles. This is what J Dilla would sound like if he was still alive and trying to make dubstep beats.
T-ara - Absolute First Album
Korea makes some of the finest pop music. Here is the first full length album from T-ara, a girl group who blends techno-pop and hip hop perfectly.

Yura Yura Teikoku - Yura Yura Teikoku No Shibire
Yura Yura Teikoku is a band from Tokyo that has been together since 1989. No Shibire is probably my favourite album of theirs.

Grouper - Hold / Sick
Grouper is Elizabeth Harris, from Portland, Oregon. Her music swims in beautiful reverb. Here is her latest 7'' with a really cool cover art.
Teebs - Teebs 09
Teebs is a beat-maker from Los Angeles. His music is a perfect example of the electronic/instrumental hip hop that is going on in L.A. The songs are untitled.

Introduction
Hi.
Welcome to Mispairing. I like it when bloggers introduce themselves, so I am doing it too. I am fallingdon, a college student in Montreal, Canada. This music blog is a way for me to share the artists that I enjoy. I hope to update it as often as possible.
By the way, mispairing is a phenomenon in molecular biology where the DNA strands are not aligned correctly during their replication. It gives a lot of mutations and amplification of sequences and can be seen in the junk DNA that has no known role. But its observation is a great tool to study the evolution between genomes.
